found the rawhide under yum.repos.d<br>
deleted it, and now seem to be back to normal<br>

Thanks, tried plugging those in, into yum.conf, and am becoming
convinced this is
a PICNIC issue ---- Problem in Chair, Not in Computer.
Must be something I am doing!!
