fc-3. I have alsa working and it starts to speak, but I get a gnopernicus
window, and a terminal one, and at times a gnome-session one that seems empty,
can't do anything from it. In the docs I found online, they want variables set
which I did all but a few because I don't know where to set the directory, can't
tell where the gnome2 dir is that they want, whereis gnome or whereis gnome2
doesn't work, and locate gives screenfuls of stuff in all sorts of places. To
switch to sawfish requires other dependencies that fc3 didn't
install.</FONT></DIV>
