[Devtools] [openshift] Need some help with DNS setup

I'm trying to get an openshift cluster going for demos.
For now both master and node are on the same machine. I've got things
working except my routes are not externally accessible due to DNS issues.

I've deployed dnsmasq but unable to get my master and node to use 8053
instead of 53.
I've modified the master-config.yaml but it still tries to connect to 53.

fyi I'm using the following guide.

Any help resolving this issue is much appreciated.
