Ok.. I'm trying plan b first:
[root at furious root]# rpm -q yum
yum-2.0.7-3
[root at furious root]# up2date -u yum
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/up2date-mirrors/fedora-core-2
using mirror:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/2/i386/os/
http://fedora.redhat.com/download/up2date-mirrors/updates-released-fc2
using mirror:
http://mirror.hiwaay.net/redhat/fedora/linux/core/updates/2/i386/
There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message was:
An HTTP error occurred:
URL:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/i386//headers/header.info
Status Code: 404
Error Message: Not Found
That didn't work. But then plan c doesn't work either.
Then on to plan a:
[root at furious root]# rpm -Uvh /home/kbn/yum-2.1.3-1.noarch.rpm
warning: /home/kbn/yum-2.1.3-1.noarch.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key

[root at furious root]# vi /etc/yum.conf
[root at furious root]# yum update
Setting up Update Process
Setting up Repo: development
repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: development
failure: repodata/repomd.xml from development: [Errno 256] No more
mirrors to try.
Doesn't work either...
That is, I'm unable to update in any case. Tho only way left, as I can
see, is to download the entire beast, create my own headers, and the yum
update the lot...
