Christoph,<br><br>The latest plymouths have been a bit of a regression for me. I see some plymouth related locking errors at boot.<br><br>I've had success with adding 'nomodeset vga=794' on my boot line, which gets the spin version back again. You might not need nomodeset, and vga=794 seems counter-intuitive but works for me.<br>
