Here’s what I have for 389-ds. I still get that error. :(<BR>

Steps to erase 389-ds:<BR>
<I>Remove-ds-admin.pl –y –d -f<BR>
yum erase 389-ds 389-ds-base 389-admin 389-adminutil adminutil<BR>
yum clean all<BR>
yum install 389-ds 389-ds-base 389-admin 389-adminutil adminutil --nogpgcheck<BR>

I think that you have not upgraded adminutil and your admin server or<BR>
you have not deleted their previous versions. you should have<BR>
389-adminutil version 1.1.8-3.el5 (if it'se RHEL/CentOS) and 389-admin<BR>
version 1.1.8-4.el5.<BR>

You can see it by "rpm -qa | grep 389"<BR>
