The license block in the Cabal says GPL, but the License file it points at is the GPLv2. I'd rather not annotate every source code file with a license, but I will try and find what the Haskell/Cabal approved way is to mark GPL versions in the license field. HLint has already been packaged by a couple of other distros, so I'm curious what they did. I'll have to check. As someone packaging HLint, is there anything else that would help you? Some of the other distros asked for a changelog that is now available at http://community.haskell.org/~ndm/darcs/hlint/CHANGES.txt . But the 6.12.1 release (even rc2) still seems to be some way off... hopefully we won't need to update 6.10.4 in dist-f13 before that. >> BTW I had quite forgotten you disabled ppc > I don't remember what the reason was, other than "it doesn't work" (but the details certainly escape me). Ok, well it works (mostly;) so I'll bring it back. (Always good to put the details into the changelog... I am guessing you dropped it because of the ghci ppc bug.) >> I think it would be good if we could do a meeting on IRC >> once in a while to stay better in touch and communicate more. > That would be interesting, although possibly not very often useful :-) Right I guess we won't know until we try - it needn't be long. Maybe just 15-25min say. I think increasing communication is always useful. I guess the main obstacle is finding a time that suits most of us. Would you or anyone like to suggest one? Approximately 30 (thirty) days from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 10. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '10'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 10's end of life. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 10 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora please change the 'version' of this bug to the applicable version. If you are unable to change the version, please add a comment here and someone will do it for you.
