[Fedora-ia64-list] Boot Problem with FC5 on Itanium HP rx2600

On my rx2600 using serial console via the MP:

the latest rawhide build:
rawhide-20050425-ia64-disc1.iso
        ^^^^ (I have already given Prarit his 20 lashings for the
typo :)

hangs just as others are seeing.

However, the older FC5-ia64-DVD.iso boots and installs just fine.

I will do some investigation on this.
