Hi,

I passed lmbench on Fedora Core 5 ia64 on on Bull NovaScale 4040 server
(Quadri-processor Itanium 2 1.6Ghz/9MB and 4GB memory).

Default options are used and option to control job placement used is the
second one that specifies
"Assign each benchmark process with any attendent child processes to its own
processor".

Then, outputs from bench begin with:

Using config in CONFIG.diane-int6

Latency measurements
*** glibc detected *** lat_sig: malloc(): memory corruption:

When the bench is launched with option to control job placement set to
"Allow scheduler to place jobs", no message about memory corruption appear.

Does anybody know what it means ?? Something wrong ??

Best regards,

Francis
