Then, I still have to figure out how to use the kickstart file in the process to end up with the XFCE spin on my good old machine. I burned the boot CD to start the network install, and provided the http path for anaconda to access the packages. Anaconda then starts to retrieve the /images/minstg2.img packages and then crashes. Here is the message I get: "Running anaconda <a href="http://11.3.0.50" target="_blank">11.3.0.50</a>, the Fedora system installer - please wait... install exited abnormally [1/1]" then the systems shuts down. I assume that my config for an http install is fine as anaconda manages to access the packages... but I can't figure out why it crashes. Can anyone help please?
