Your're right it's not a sawfish issue it turns out to be a problem with libwnck. The gnome bug is here<BR>

Sorry, I should have been clearer; these showed up with GNOME 2.4
integration and not before. AFAICT, this is an integration
problem, that sawfish hasn't been updated to GNOME 2.4. I could
be wrong. All those features work fine in sawfish alone, as I
understand it; it's combined with GNOME 2.4 that there's a problem.
