I am trying to keep Evolution 1.4.6 Contacts and Calender synchronized on two
FC2 boxes running kernel*.521. Ultimately want to bring the other two FC2
boxes into sync as well.
<br />>
<br />>
I installed multisync-0.82-2.i386.rpm, multisync-syncml-0.82.2.i386.rpm and
multisync-evolution-0.82-fc2.1.i386.rpm on both boxes. The reason for the
mixed versions (0.82-2 and 0.82-fc2) was that I could not find the necessary
libraries to use the 0.82-2 version of multisync-evolution. I really
didn't expect it to play but thought it worth a try.

<br />>
The client connects to the server but no sync takes place. Both logs,
client and server show the connection "repeated twice".
<br />>
<br />>
After fiddling with various settings I decided to remove all rpms and install
all fc2 version. When I do rpm -e as root I get the following:
<br />>
<br />>
[root@homeoffice bmcclure]# rpm -e
multisync-0.82-2.i386.rpm
<br />>
error: package multisync-0.82-2.i386.rpm is not
installed
<br />>
<br />>
I get the same error if I cd to /usr/local/bin (where the executable is
installed) and run rpm -e.
<br />>
<br />>
The package is obviously installed. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

<br />Don't put in the i386.rpm portion. Do it like this:-
<br />
<br />rpm -e multisync-0.82.2
<br />
<br />And that's it.
