That may be true, but it doesn't explain why GNOME Terminal behaves
perfectly in a brand new account that I create. I'm only experiencing
this in my account.

BTW, I have similar conditions as you in that:<br>

1. I installed FC3 on a fresh box.<br>
<br>
2. The account is a fresh new account.<br>
<br>
What I differ with you is that the box is a virtual machine inside
Microsoft Virtual PC 2004.<br>
