Ok, so I will just use system-config-mouse. I must have specified the
wrong mouse on install. I have a very old system with an original MS
serial mouse.<br>
I never had any problems making changes with either that, or X86config.<br>

linuxconf was dropped by RH long before Fedora Core came along. The
only comments I've seen since, oh, the RH7 days have been mostly
negative as regards that utility.
For a good search engine, try this ....
