You configure DEL to be BACKSPACE and complain that it generates BACKSPACE. Change your setting to default and it will work as you expect it to work. This option is probably for compatibility with some terminals, where DEL works as backspace. If you don't want it to act that way, don't configure it so. </blockquote> Can you read????????????????
