<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Problem one: installed a 15 gig HD and fedora (or
the bios) is calling it an 8 gig'r. guess I need to set</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>the bios on the right peramaters....</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>225Mhz P1 with MMX tech. and 256M
Dimms.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Problem Two:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I want to transfer files from the old hard drive
(now /dev/hdb) to the FC3 drive which is the 15 gig being called an</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>8 gig. Now the problem is this, BOTH Drives have
the "LABEL= /boot" on them and this prevents me from being</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>able to manipulate teh RH8 hard drive and pull some
of the needed files over to the new install. Not that it's</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>a whole lot of files, just some key things and a
pgp key that I need for the system to operate.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>When booting up, the system (FC3) locks out the
/hdb drive and I can not move anything from it to the</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>new one.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>first should I fix the drive pramamters (of course
wipe the drive and start fresh) that</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>way there will be no faults to show up on me?? and
how do I make the LABEL=/BOOT</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>go away enough to just let it be a plain file
system. I have used the e2label command</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>but I still can not see the harddrive in
FC3.</FONT></DIV>
