I went through the man pages with all the option the last one I've tried:<br> /dev/hdb4 /media/zip auto user,exec,dev,suid 0 0<br> but I still get:<br> [ed@mybox~]$ mount /media/zip<br> mount: special device /dev/hdb4 does not exist<br> even thoough /dev/hdb4 is there. I need to be root to mount the device:<br> [root@mybox ~]# mount -t vfat /dev/hdb4 /media/zip/<br> Then it get's mounted. Why I can mount the cdrom but no the zip drive?
