They cannot access both floppy and CDROM media. The error message they are presented with is: "Cannot mount volume." After searching for information on-line I have tried the following: I have called group.so in /etc/pam.d/gdm And have added the following line to /etc/security/group.conf: gdm; *; *; Al0000-2400; floppy, cdrom This is as you can imagine a big problem!
