<p>Okay, but would this not just break the configuration? </p>
<p>Nagios daemon should not start - could just turn the daemon off instead... but that is not a solution to the problem ;)</p>

<p>Try moving nagois.conf out of the /etc/httpd/conf.d/ folder, or just</p>
<p>renaming it to anything that doesn't end in *.conf.</p>

<p>Just a guess - I was messing around w/nagois yesterday on Centos 5...</p>
