Try cleaning the gnome registry - much fun is stored there. However,
if you are using gnome not kde it may clean more than you want. If
you're using kde then .. well you get the idea.<br>

As root<br>
service NetworkManager stop<br>
<br>
As user<br>
killall nm-applet<br>
cd<br>
mkdir -p Backups/.gnome2<br>
mv .gconf* ./Backups<br>
mv .gnome2/keyrings Backups/.gnome2<br>

as root: service NetworkManager restart<br>
as user: nm-applet &<br>
