I believe the gcc-gfortran package should support FORTRAN 77 as well as<BR>
more recent Fortrans. I have seen reports of some issues with gfortran,<BR>
but I'm pretty sure it is intended to work, so problems should be<BR>
reported as bugs.<BR>
