<html><head><style type="text/css"></style></head><body><div style="font-family:times new roman,new york,times,serif;font-size:12pt;color:#000000;"><div>Hi,<br><br>I am using fedora 11 with latest updates.<br><br>whenever I try to open a port using shell/webmin/built-in firewall admin,<br>it shows that command worked fine and port is now open.<br><br>But when I use nmap it do not show the port as open.<br>Even some other programs which needs those port, shows that port is not open.<br><br>This means there is no problem in nmap.<br><br>I have varified the entry for specific port exist in /etc/sysconfig/iptable<br>Also the entry is specified before any reject rule.<br><br>I have posted a bug report on bugzilla(bug : 524509) <br><span><a target="_blank" href="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=524509">https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=524509</a> </span><br>But no answer yet.<br><br>Can anyone help?
