The version is: Gnome rhythmbox 0.7.2 I think this happens to be a rythmbox issue. If not, I'll add one. Right now I'm figuring out which RPMs to get so as to enable mp3 support in rhythmbox. But I noticed this seems to have been discussed already on this list.... still looking for an answer that does not involve re-compiling the app :) Thanks again, Siddharth.
