I updated with yum my f8 x86 system from updates-tesing repository (that officially received yesterday the packages you mentioned in koji) and amarok is now able to connect, see files on my ipod and add new ones, being able then to play them by my ipod. Ipod is nano 3rd generation with 8Gb and lsusb gives Bus 002 Device 003: ID 05ac:1262 Apple Computer, Inc.
