[Freeipa-devel] freeipa-client configured but kerberos authentication error connecting to server

I've just been through the HowTo for connecting a client to a server
http://freeipa.org/page/How_to:RHEL4_setup (admittedly running on F7
here) ran into the following:

1. when I run kinit admin@<domain> it appears to work except I receive
only the krbtgt, not the http tcket.

2. I set up the negotiate attributes in Firefox, but get a Kerberos
authentication error when I try to connect to the IPA server.

Is 2. the result of 1.?

How might I fix this?
