Would it be better to just switch the attribute to 'l' in the plugin
instead?
This does bring up a general problem if we don't handle attribute
aliasing. I believe that in the schema it lists the preferred order of
the attributes (so 'l', 'locality', 'localityname'). Can we use the
schema you load to do this attribute-name rewriting?
