I saw that on the Launchpad bug as well. This is actually good news.

What it means is that someone in the Debian project has already done the
work you requested on TEvent. What needs to be done now is to have that
work merged into Ubuntu (which is a Debian derivative). Please follow up
on that Launchpad bug and turn that into a request to sync the Debian
package into Ubuntu.
