[Freeipa-devel] New Devel branch 2.2

Hello fellow developers,

The Hunting Season for version 2.2 is officially open.

I have just pushed the ipa-2-2 branch into the upstream git tree.
The current version is set to 2.1.90 and will go up from there until we
are ready to release FreeIPA version 2.2.0

The 2.1 branch is now officially closed to development and only patches
for major defects or security issues should be pushed there.

The 2.2 branch has more than 200 patches backported from master which is
still marching towards the 3.0 release. The 2.2 branch is meant to
provide a number of features we wanted to initially defer to 3.0, but
finally decided to release earlier in the 2.x series.

This means you have to be careful about which patches should be
committed to both trees and which shouldn't.
