Works for me. I tested this change myself, it was also confirmed by RHEL
downstream testing as well.

I know Alexander did not like this change very much
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1164896#c55), but it is the best
option we have so far and which we can use to fix these upgrade issues.
