libdes was replaced by libpbe, see ticket:

during the postinstall of the upgrade the DES config in the dse.ldif
should be changed. There have been cases where the postinstall
scripts were not propeerly executed.<br>
Could you stop your DS and run:<br>

<br>
if it still is not corrected, try<br>
