It's not a production server, just a testbed. For that matter, it's not a school either, but a mid-size newsletter and web publishing company. The problem occurred after a clean install, during which I did a number of upgrades. At one point this afternoon I was convinced that the problem was the Evolution upgrade using Ximian's Red Carpet tool, and that still may be the case. The only problem is, the other reported occurence of this problem (see thread) does not appear to have done the Ximiam upgrade.

I've uninstalled Evolution and have had no issues since, but I haven't gone back and checked the logs yet. I'll do that tomorrow.
