Hey David,

I installed openldap-servers off the 3rd CD - RH7.3, on my app server.
Under /user/doc/share/openldap*/migration (?) there are some utils
documented in the instructions at:

http://www.mandrakesecure.net/en/docs/ldap-auth.php

After I had slapd running on the app server I configured the k12ltsp server
to point at the app server and enabled ldap authentication during
installation. On a server already installed just use authconfig.

That was it.

I'm not authenticating the app server to ldap yet as it is a production
server and I don't want to risk messing anything up until the end of the
year. You have to reinstall a ldap enabled samba. It works on the test box...

I'd be glad to help you with more specifics if needed.
