[K12OSN] OS X, X11, and K12LTSP

I'm having difficulty connecting to my K121LTSP box using Mac OS X on my
iBook (wired...not wireless).  I followed the instructions in the
mini-how-to on the wiki site to the letter with the exception that I'm
using Apple's X11 instead of XDarwin.  I typed      X -query 192.168.0.254
-quartz       in the X11 terminal "xterm".  I got nothing.  When I typed  
 X -query  192.168.0.254     without the  "-quartz" I got a message
stating that there was already a server running on display "0"....or
something to that effect.  Can anyone help?  Am I possibly missing
something to do with quartz?  Will this work with X11?  I'd like to get
this fixed by Thursday as I'm hosting a workshop for folks from all over
our state and would like to demo this.  Any help is greatly appreciated.
