Maybe this would be better placed on the LTSP list (like I need
another one to track...) but there are actually more people actually
USING LTSP, right here, day-to-day.
I'm about to create a demo server for educational software and I
want to put LTSP on it, too. Some questions:
1. Does anyone have it working under Redhat 9, using LTSP 3.x
right-outta-the box?
2. The first time I set it up was under LTSP 2.0 (or so) and it
worked very well with the network cards of the time. I loaded 3.x with
those same cards *and* a cool little Jammin-125's. Both attempts were
dismal failures, somehow. Is the latest LTSP 3.x still as 'friendly'
with the Jammin-125's as I'm told?
It's a demo machine- it's not meant to be air-tight-secure or
tuned-down with BlackBox instead of Gnome/KDE, ya know? I just want to
get some idea of the chances of it working on the first pull..
