Great site!!!
I'm curious about a few things, though:
* "The cost for the Microsoft server software with client access licenses
(CALs) for 25 clients would run about $4,000. However, we would also
need 300 more CALs! "
Why 300 more licenses? For more labs, or...?
* How much would it have cost to create a lab full of non-thin-client
systems running Linux or Windows? (e.g., what savings is there in
getting a beefy server and lots of thin clients? I'm not saying there
_isn't_ of course -- and a lot of the savings aren't immediate -- I'm
just curious how much $$$, exactly. ;^) )
Thanks!
