Hi Stephen,
Yes - "root" can look at any file on the system including mail box files
no matter where they are. Root can read anything except for some special
situations, and most of those have a workaround.
(Note - on Linux/UNIX we use the term "sys-admin" or system administrator.
the name "Administrator" seems fairly derivative of Windows and using
it in a Linux context will probably end up causing confusion as
there is no good mapping between the Window's "user rights"
architecture and those of Linux.)
