Thanks. I'm not hired by mandrake but i have been doing packages and cooker 
stuff for them for years. As such i know a good portion of the developers 
even though I did not know the us staff all that well. 

I would be interested in seeing what you did. I do believe that it should not 
be so hard to get it all going. I already know how to modify the installer 
somewhat (read here as I'm not a perl programmer but I do know some things to 
change to make custom install options and such. The rest is just how you 
package the rpm's. If the rpm's are done correctly they will handle 
everything else for you. I know for mandrake 9.2 there is allot of talk about 
making ldap a very easy setup which would be one of the last things that 
allot of users are looking into.
