RE: [K12OSN] Windows Educational Games

Just an FYI I've been using freeciv (http://freeciv.org) now for two
years in Soc Studies as a great simulation. Kids love playing and I've
got a crew right now developing reflection and content for a CivEdu

Win4lin, which allows you to run Windows95/95/ME on top of Linux might
work. I use it to allow my wife to run a Windows app she needs for her
business. Netraverse, which makes Win4Lin, says games are more likely
to have problems, I think because of ActiveX issues, but OTOH, I've not
had any problems with simpler, less graphically complex games. I've got

one or two Jumpstart games as home that I'll try this weekend and let
you know how they do.
