Hi fellow listees
Using Webmin for batching hundreds of users at once has been a God
sent for me, so, even though the process is fairly straight forward,
I have placed a small tutorial here: http://links.episd.org/LTSP/ -
it creates accounts for 25 users in 5 different languages (kids love
"learning" the names & pwds)
This tutorial assumes you can log into the K12LTSP server as root,
and that you have installed and executed Webmin. If you don't have
Webmin installed, login as root and then click on the "Install
additional software" folder that appears on the desktop. Clicking on
"Get Webmin" will install it on your system (RH9)
I strongly believe we should support "baby steps" by newbies. With
good support they will become the future big names that can then
answer more of my questions...
Cheers
