For those that might be interested, I have a 10Mbit 3com EtherLink XL PCI
(3C900-TPO) for my internet connection.  It will not work unless kudzu is
prevented from running at boot.  I don't know what kudzu is doing to the
configuration that is preventing the NIC from working properly and
obtaining
an IP address, but it seems to be a known issue (as my Google searching has
shown) so hopefully a good fix will be forthcoming.
