Ok, I'm fernoogled. Local DNS has always worked, and now I'm getting
the following:
[spowers at gonzo ~]$ nslookup kermit
Server: 10.10.5.8
Address: 10.10.5.8#53
Name: kermit.ils
Address: 10.10.5.8
[spowers at gonzo ~]$ ping kermit
PING kermit.ils (127.0.0.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from gonzo.ils (127.0.0.1): icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=0.039 ms
64 bytes from gonzo.ils (127.0.0.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.024 ms
--- kermit.ils ping statistics ---
2 packets transmitted, 2 received, 0% packet loss, time 999ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 0.024/0.031/0.039/0.009 ms, pipe 2
[spowers at gonzo ~]$
Where is it getting 127.0.0.1?!?!?! It's not in the /etc/hosts file for
sure, but this is happening on 2 differnet servers (fozzie does the same
thing)
Any ideas?
