[K12OSN] vncserver

HI,
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
System
K12LTSP  2.6.11-1.14_FC3
Dual P-III 600 Mhz
Problem
vncserver runs continueously  even after the service is shut down! But 
even worse the vnc sessions keep piling up in spite of stopping 
vncserver and vncts.

This is becoming a major issue as it is taking up resources from the 
server.

Any help is appreciated
