Hi Les,
No I'm not starting the sessions! They seem to start by
themselves?????? Althought I've stopped vncserver and vncts, vnc
sessions keep appearing in the vncserver pid and slowing the server to
a crawl.
Could my system have been hacked ???
thks

HI,
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
System
K12LTSP 2.6.11-1.14_FC3
Dual P-III 600 Mhz
Problem
vncserver runs continueously even after the service is shut down!
But
even worse the vnc sessions keep piling up in spite of stopping
vncserver and vncts.
This is becoming a major issue as it is taking up resources from the
server.
Are you starting vncserver sessions yourself? If so they are
supposed to run until you stop them. The normal k12ltsp
configuration is to let xinetd start sessions on demand
and those should go away when you disconnect.
