Hi Eric, I am running 4.2.3EL, so I've been playing around with all the new Flash uploads that you've done this year. Looks like sound is an issue with Flash 9, generally, though Flash 7 did give me audio. Will give these new packages a try tonight and see how it goes. Just to make sure, there isn't a special handshake that you've got to do w/ the new Flash, beyond what's been posted to the lists, to make sound work, is there? I mean something discovered recently. Thanks! --TP _______________________________

Dan Young found that the libflashsupport package would not play some videos when SELinux is enabled & provided a patch to fix it. I uploaded packages for K12LTSP 4.2.3EL, 5.0, & 6.0 yum install libflashsupport For K12LTSP 6.0, I noticed that the sound configuration in the LTSP packages was slightly different than previous versions (it did not include the "-public" flag). This has been patched & new K12LTSP 6.0 packages uploaded. yum install ltsp_i386 -Eric _______________________________________________ K12OSN mailing list K12OSN redhat com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/k12osn For more info see <http://www.k12os.org> |
