The changes in this release are as follows:
LPRng support has been rewritten so that hardware accounting is done
immediately, just as for CUPS support. The CUPS support 99% CPU usage
problem has been fixed. Software accounting now natively handles
PostScript (DSC compliant and binary), PDF, PCL5, and PCLXL (a.k.a.
PCL6). Strict enforcement of quotas is configurable, as well as
automated bug reports. An X Window OSD print quota reminder utility
has been introduced. The configuration hinter for CUPS has been
improved.

Project description:
PyKota is a centralized and extensible print quota system for the
Common UNIX Printing System (CUPS) and LPRng. It features per-printer
user and group quotas, automated email warning to users and quota
administrator, commandline tools which mimic the disk quota
utilities, PostgreSQL and OpenLDAP backends, and much more.
