Wouldn't specifying a fixed IP for eth0 avoid conflicts with the WIN2K
server?<br>

This assumes that you have a separate switch in the lab that you
can isolate - and is the best approach if you do, or if you can
add such a switch between your eth0 interface and the local
clients. If all of your wiring goes back to a central location
you may need to use boot floppies with an alternate dhcp port.
