I'd like to know more about using KNOPPIX to do this. I don't know how to do that. 2. The answer to the SID issues is gohst as a workgroup then change name and joing domain. New SID will be created for the domain system and the workgroup donesn't need one. A lot easier than sysprep. But I did use educational XP so I did not worry about activation.
