Chuck I don't understand the bootrom socket advice can you explain

if it has a pci slot free you "may" be able to put a bootroomed card in

Likely, you can look on that old motherboard and find the chipset for
the NIC that is on it and get the number and find native drivers for
that chipset. This isan integrated NIC right? Once you find the
chipset, you can then go to rom-0-matic and get a bootrom for it.<br>
