Try putting the netlogon somewhere besides /home/netlogon. . . Put it in it's own folder, like /samba/netlogon And set it browseable = no and don't give users RW, only R. If you can't see the netlogon share by \\servername\netlogon, see if you can see it by ip: \\10.0.x.x\netlogon It could just be that your DNS or WINS is not working right. Send me your smb.conf and I'll look at it if you'd like. I can run the scripts manually, either by browsing through network neighbourhood, or by mapping the netlogon share to a drive letter. When I map the netlogon share to drive Z: the UNC issue is resolved. All the paths are correct, permissions are as open as the sahara desert, and the script exists. The netlogon folder is located at /home/netlogon So I'll go through the smb.conf with a fine tooth comb and see if I've missed something. It doesn't. I suspect the problem lies in the [global] section of my smb.conf, but please don't let that limit any help you can give.
