<DIV>It happens to me regularly. I use the first installation CD and i go into linux rescue. Then i ask to have the root partition mounted, (usually under /mnt/sysimage r something like that) and then i chroot that mount point (the step is explained in a pop-up window). I reinstall grub with grub-install /dev/sda for the mbr on the first sata disk.</DIV>
